The Galaxy S22 Ultra from Samsung has the potential to sell more than any other Galaxy Note device in history. Even though it's not officially called a Galaxy Note, this device effectively replaces both the Galaxy S21 Ultra from last year and the Galaxy Note20 Ultra from 2020. The S Pen stylus is included, and the design is unmistakably derived from the Note line.
Many people lamented the end of the Galaxy Note line as a standalone product, but it appears that Samsung's choice to essentially incorporate it into the S series was the right one. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to sell 10.9 million copies in its first year of availability, according to a fresh report from a typically reputable source.
Consider that the Note20 series, which consists of two models, only reached 7.5 million throughout the same period as a reference. 9.5 million units of the Note10 series. 9.6 million units of the Note9. With 10.3 million sales, the Galaxy Note8 is presently in charge of the Notes category. However, if things continue as they are, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will overtake it.
That will probably be sufficient justification for Samsung to stick with its current course and refrain from reviving the Note line. In the end, is it really that significant that the name of a phone that has all the functionality of a Note lacks the term "Note"?
The Galaxy S22 Ultra from Samsung has some large shoes to fill as the Note that isn't a Note, but it very well could end up being the final Note. The most recent Ultra will either be the ultimate phone, period, or fall short for each group in some manner, trying to cater to both productivity-focused pen aficionados and photography fans.

On the surface, S Pen supporters won't have many complaints. The S22 Ultra features the same pen as the Note20 Ultra and, like a true Note, has a silo for keeping the thing within the phone. Unlike the S21 Ultra, which required carrying the stylus separately until you inexorably lost it, the S22 Ultra has a silo. Although the old one wasn't all that horrible, the big gains in latency sound encouraging as well.
Also not to be let down should be the camera crew. You receive the same quad configuration as the S21 Ultra (at least conceptually) plus a few telephoto lenses with up to 10x magnification, as well as an autofocusing ultrawide (that Samsung insists on keeping exclusive to the Ultra). Along with the large-sensor nona-binning 108MP primary camera,
The group of photographers shouldn't be let down either. There are two telephoto lenses with up to 10x magnification and one autofocusing ultrawide lens included in the same quad arrangement as the S21 Ultra (at least in theory) (that Samsung insists on keeping exclusive to the Ultra). Of course, this is in addition to the 108MP big-sensor nona-binning primary camera.
