On July 12, Nothing will introduce its phone (1), and we have official confirmation that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 778G+ processor. The phone will compete with the more potent Google Pixel 6 and Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, but its pricing leaked on Amazon and its performance will be comparable to that of the Samsung Galaxy A73 and the Moto Edge 30.
According to an Amazon Germany listing that was published on Reddit, the phone will cost €469.99 with 8/128 GB or €549.99 with 12/256 GB.
Compared to what is purported to cost in India, European pricing are significantly higher. After Nothing announced the new smartphone won't be sold in North America, the Old Continent will be one of the phone's key markets.
Previous teasers for the Nothing phone (1) showed a transparent back panel with two cameras and a wireless charging coil, which is unusual for midrange phones. We hope to learn more in the days coming up to the event, which is approximately two weeks away.
